In this article, I want to talk about something that is one of the cornerstones of a civilization’s identity: FOOD. The dishes and meals I discuss originated in Africa but got popular and attracted fans from all over the world. For all of you foodies here, this is going to be an interesting article to read.
As a Tunisian, I got to see the popularity of this dish not only among my fellow Tunisian citizens, but also among multinational tourists who visit our country. Couscous is made of steamed semolina. Koshari is one of the most known dishes in Africa (especially north Africa) as it comes to the world from Egypt. While its composition can seem odd, Koshari has a special place in every Egyptian’s heart as well as the so many multinational visitors who choose Egypt to spend their vacations.
Koshari is made of rice, lentils, macaroni, garlic, and chickpeas, in addition to a spicy tomato sauce and some fried onion. Egypt attracts multinational visitors from all over the world not only because of the historical wonders it has to offer, but also due to the rich cuisine it offers.
